MAGIGAS S.p.A.distributes Jet A-1 and Avgas 100LL aviation fuels throughout Italy.

Our customers are Flight Companies, Aerial Work Companies, Helicopter Rescue Services, Aeroclubs, and passenger transport companies, but also private consumers of Jet A-1 and Avgas 100LL for airplanes and helicopters.Our fleet of MAGIGAS vehicles dedicated to aviation products is cutting-edge from a technical point of view and is equipped with specific equipment, in order to strictly comply with all JIG aviation regulations.

It should be underlined that our storage depot in Pistoia is a DEPOSIT TAX; this allows us to deliver both excise duty paid products and excise duty exempt products for subsidized uses throughout Italy, as well as offering the possibility of obtaining re-credits relating to excise duty refunds very quickly, in compliance with current tax regulations.

Aviation products

Our Avgas 100LL and Jet A-1 products are intended for airplanes and helicopters, they are delivered to airports, airfields, and helipads; thanks to our flexibility and organization we have a line of daily shipments of product in drums (50 and 200 liters approved), this also allows small consumers to receive aeronautical fuel directly to their address. For bulk product deliveries, we make specific offers.

The Avgas 100LL

The Avgas 100LL

Avgas 100LL is a petrol specially designed for piston aircraft. Avgas 100LL is a refinery blended product with the addition of a blue color. The most important characteristic for a fuel intended for piston engines is the value of the anti-knock power or the octane index. In fact “100” represents the octane number (Engine Octane Index: MON), while the Research Octane Index (RON) used to qualify road petrol as SP98 rises to 130. “LL” stands for octane content low lead. (Low Lead). The avgas 100LL is used for example in the following helicopters: Robinson, Huges, Guimbal, Bell, Enstrom. And in the following tourist planes: Piper, Robin, Jodel, D b iamond, Socata.
The JET A-1

The JET A-1

is an aviation fuel known as “kerosene,” suitable for most jet aircraft. It has a minimum flash point of 38°C and a maximum freezing point of -47°C. It meets stringent international requirements, in particular those of the latest versions of AFQRJOS, the British standard DEF STAN 91-91, the ASTM D1655 standard and the NATO F-35 specifications. JET A-1 is the main fuel used for jet turbine engines. It is also used in general aviation for compatible diesel engine aircraft. The A-1 jet is used for example in the following helicopters: Agusta, Airbus, Eurocopter, Bell, Sikorsky. And in the following aircraft: Airbus, Boing, Citation, Embraer, Bombardier, Gulfstream, Beechcraft.

DAVIDE E ANDREA GIORDANO DI NUOVO “D’ARGENTO”

Con la Skoda Fabia di Pavel Group, campioni della “over 55” per il terzo anno consecutivo nella zona 7, lo scorso fine settimana hanno chiuso al meglio la stagione con il secondo posto della classifica “over 55”, al termine di una gara, a Genova, assai tirata e ricca di insidie.

 

Serravalle Pistoiese (PT), 12  novembre 2024 – Non poteva terminare meglio, la stagione rallistica di  TOP GEAR TEAM con i fratelli Davide e Andrea Giordano. Alla finale unica della Coppa Italia Rally, la griffe pistoiese era scesa in campo con i campioni “over 55” della zona 7 i quali, al 40° Rally della Lanterna a Genova, gara di lunga tradizione, hanno conquistato il secondo posto di categoria.
