Despite this setback, the multiple Italian and European champion, with the Nova Proto NP01 Bardahl from Best Lap, finished ahead of everyone, getting ever closer to Mauro Nesti, who, with ten victories, remains the most successful competitor in the event organized by the Automobile Club Brescia, which this year served as the first round of the Italian Supersalita Championship.
